Meiofauna are microscopic organisms that inhabit the benthos of water bodies. They play an important role in aquatic ecosystems and exhibit great biodiversity. My research focuses on the systematics and evolution of meiofauna, with an emphasis on understudied taxa such as Tardigrada and Gastrotricha.

Researchinterest
From sandy beaches to the abyssal depths of the ocean. I am fascinated by the study of these incredible microscopic creatures.
I focus on:
- Taxonomy, systematics, and evolution of marine tardigrades and gastrotrichs.
- Advanced microscopy.
- Biogeography and evolution of meiofauna.
